How to Overlap MailChimp Sign Up Bar with Hero Image?

Hi,
I know nothing about coding, only website design using pre-coded tools. If anyone knows how I can recode using CSS (not even sure what it is, but I heard it’s for customizing) to overlap an email sign up bar with a hero image, that would be so appreciated! Thank you!

    Thanks for posting.

    In this post, I cover adding a form to a Hero widget. You could use the prebuilt layout provided and replace the SiteOrigin Contact Form widget with a Custom HTML widget and insert your MailChimp form HTML into the Custom HTML widget.

    Thank you so much! This worked. Now, I just need to know how to edit the mailchimp html so that the form is transparent and not a colored square. Do you know how I can do that?

    Super, really glad to hear you’re making some progress :) Our free support scope is a bit limited, we do our best to assist with basic usage and troubleshooting questions. For things like small code edits and customizations, we offer support under our SiteOrigin Premium offering. This is perhaps a question you could ask MailChimp if you don’t have any success. You’ll most likely be looking to remove a background: #ffffff; or background-color: #ffffff; assuming, it has been added inline to the form code. You could also give the visual editor in our SiteOrigin CSS plugin a try for small CSS edits like this one. https://wordpress.org/plugins/so-css/
