How to manage with anchors

By Tollirom, 7 years ago. Last reply by Alex S, 7 years ago.

I try to use North theme with page builder, for creating a onepage website, with default layout. In fact there are anchors in the layout used, and I like sticky menu, with soft scrolling to anchors, which maybe are positionned at the beginning of the different default widgets.
Question is : how can I simply manage, to change the names and places of the different anchors ?
In fact I want to modify menu, and to modify the place where the actual anchors are inside the page, with a smooth scroll effect.
But concretly I don’t know how ton change places of anchors, and I can’t see where concretly they are….And I dont want to brake all the code…
Sorry if my question is not so clear…and tks for your help !!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tollirom,

To be honest, I’m having a hard time understand exactly what you’re trying to do and for that I’m very sorry.

I suspect you’re trying to set up page jumps and asking how you move an ID or what the ID actually is. If this isn’t the case, can you please elaborate further? Sorry about this. :(

If this is the case, you have a few options. You can add Anchor ids like the ones on this page or you can add row ids.

To add a row id by click the wrench icon above the row. Head over to the row styles sidebar and open the Attribute settings group. Set the row id as desired. Now simply link to that row id as you normally would.
