How to make menu solid background

Right now it’s transparent and I don’t remember changing anything that made it so. What can I do to make it solid again? I already changed theme design -> menu Background solid but that had no effect.

    Hi

    Thanks for posting.

    Perhaps check your Custom CSS located at AppearanceCustom CSS or CustomizeAdditional CSS. If you’re using a child theme, you could also check the child style.css file. Those are the most likely locations for a change like this.

    Thanks Andrew. Alas no effect. I even removed all Custom CSS to be sure. I also tried creating a new primary menu called test and no changes there. Where/what else can I check? Thanks.

    There was no Additional CSS and no child theme.

    Thanks. I think my problem is Max Mega Menu. It works correctly with that not enabled, but then goes to transparent background when enabled. They even have dialog to control background color and panel, but those fail even WITH Cache deleted.

    It’s enabled now IF you are interested but I know I’ll have to contact them. http://crest.avwebmaster.com

    Thanks for the link. The menu styles are set within MMM. Please, check the styling settings provided by the plugin, I’m sure you’ll find what you need there.
