Sorry if this has been answered before, looking for a way to left align the text title on a sidebar in my client’s website.
The page is here:https://britishclassicstour.com.au/gallery/
I am editing this site as a makeover, new images and text etc, the plan is to have multiple Gallery pages as the site celebrates it’s 10th Anniversary.
regards
Bryan
Hi Bryan
Thanks for reaching out.
Are you asking how to left-align the PREVIOUS YEARS GALLERIES widget title?
You can find a few Custom CSS snippets for Unwind here Page: CSS Snippets. We aren’t normally able to provide Custom CSS support within our free support scope. There is a snippet available to strip the decorative borders but, unfortunately, one has been written at this stage to remove the border and left align the sidebar widget titles.
Hi Andrew,
thank you for your prompt reply, I know a lot of changes we like to make are sometimes more of a personal appeal, in this case here my client would not have noticed, but I am going to persist and make this change.
So, long story short, I discovered SiteOrigin CSS and the visual editor, watched the video with Greg from SiteOrigin, awesome, dug deep and found it.
Applied some changes a snippet was written in the CSS:
#secondary .widget .widget-title {
text-align: left;
}
.image.wp-image-940.attachment-thumbnail.size-thumbnail {
text-align: left;
}
Even left aligned the logo, the Sidebar Title…….nah, nada
Plan #2
Buy the premium license and get back to you again, I think.
Couple of screen grabs to show (no) results.
talk again soon
Hi Bryan
Thanks for your reply, detailed feedback, and understanding.
The widget headline title uses
before
andafter
pseudo-elements for the strike through-line. The widget title text alignment is using Flexbox. So a bit going on there which is most likely why changing the text-alignment value isn’t working. We can certainly assist further within our premium support scope.Thanks Andrew
I thought it was some else other than text.
Will get the Premium update
And get back to you
Sounds like a plan! Chat then.
Hi Andrew
Bit the bullet
