How to display the “date” under post-title when using PB Post-Loop-Widget?

Hi! I need some help with two issues:

1- How can I display the “date” under every post-title when using Page Builder Post Loop Widget? The website is ready to launch and I still need to have this done. Is there an easy way to do this? Through CSS, maybe? Or do I have to modify the loop-grid.php document? If so, can you tell me how?

Also, I need to change the way the mobile menu-window “slips” to make it slip from right to left. At the moment I managed to stop it slipping from left to right (original direction) but it’s just suddenly appearing on the screen and no slipping at all.

I will appreciate your prompt response. Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi BatyaC,

    1. Could you please clarify what theme you’re using? To clarify, the post loop widget relies on theme templates to display the loop and if the theme doesn’t include such functionality, you’ll need to manually add it (which I sadly can’t assist with). This sadly isn’t possible with CSS.

For example, if you’re using Vantage you could do this by enabling the post date. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsBlog and tick Post Data – make sure Post Metadata is also enabled.

    2. Could you please clarify what theme you’re using?

If you’re using Vantage, unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on the forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you.

    We highly recommend using Codeable.

    Thanks Alex for your response.

Yes, I’m using Vantage and really like it very much as well as the Page Builder plugin. I thought that the post-loop-widget already has the Post-Data functionality available.

Also, if the Vantage theme has by default the mobile-menu-window sliding to the right, I assumed that it should be something simple to make it slide to the left :( Apparently I was wrong!

Thanks anyway and please let me know if you have any other suggestion that can help me with both issue.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi BatyaC,

To clarify, the steps outlined for Vantage for the first issue should definitely work for you. If it doesn’t, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi, I Work Here

Contact: User is using the grid blog archive layout.

    Hi BatyaC,

Ah. Unfortunately, only the blog archive layout supports post metadata at this time. I’m going to log this as a feature request but in the meantime, you’ll need to make modifications to the template itself.

Please create a child theme (here’s a basic one already built) and then create a directory called loops in your child theme. Copy loop-grid.php from the parent theme to your child theme and then add the code there. Please refer to content-single.php for an idea of how to do this. The key function being vantage_posted_on().

I’m sorry I’m unable to be of further assistance. :(

    Thanks Alex for your effort!
I’ll try to figure it out…
