How to Disable Page Builder on Posts

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

Hi, novice WordPress user and blogger here.

Page Builder has taken over! Recent update? I can’t seem to disable it when creating new posts or editing old ones. In the Page Builder settings, I have opted for Page Builder to be used on pages only and not posts, but that didn’t work, even after clearing my cache.

How can I make the classic editor my default again?

    Hi Marissa,

Please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and open the General tab. Untick Default To Page Builder Interface and save.

Tried that too, but didn’t work. Any other suggestions?

    Hi Alex,

You can disregard my last question. I saw your reply so someone else’s thread and followed your suggestion to install Classic Editor. It worked! Thanks for your help!!
