Unfortunately, there isn’t currently a setting in the Hero widget to disable auto-play. For a more fully-featured slider option you could consider using something like Meta Slider. We’ll hopefully have a more advanced slider widget released in a couple of months but for now, Meta Slider would assist in the areas you want to make changes.

Thanks for replying.
I have considered Meta Slider but i need an editor for my slider which is available in hero widget.To obtain Meta Slider with editor i have to upgrade the plugin.Anyhow found a solution ,i increased animation speed and timeout speed to 1000000000000000000 milliseconds this stopped the autoplay.i know its not a correct approach but it works for me now,will wait for advanced slider from SiteOrigin.
