Hey, I am running Vantage Premium and it is just awesome! It is 100% the right Themen for me.
But nevertheless I have a question and probably someone can help me.
I want that the sides of my menu have a different colour than the menu itselfs.
My menu is black and I want that the sides should be white. The black colour should end after “Start” and after the “Search icon”.
My page is: www.geschenkedienst24.de
I would like that my menu is like this one http://www.blackspex.com/

Best wishes Tobias

    Hi Tobias

    Thanks for running Vantage.

    Would you perhaps like to use the boxed layout? If so you can find that setting under Appearance > Theme Settings > Layout > Layout Bound: Boxed.

    Give that a try and let me know how it goes.

    Hey, thank you very much, but it is not how I wanted it. I`d like that the menu background colour stops before”start” and after then search icon. So that the edges are “cutted”. I want that the menu background colour is white (as the page background colour) after the search icon and before start. I think I have to change something on the CSS, but I do not know what..

    Ok I’m with you now. Try inserting the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:

    .main-navigation {
    max-width: 1080px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    That`s exactly, what I wanted!! Great , thank you! By the way should I do the changes on my child theme or parent theme?
    Again thank you very much!!

    Super, glad to hear that helped.

    You could add this to either theme’s Appearance > Custom CSS or the style.css file of your child theme.
