How to change the background color of the Headline Widget

9 years ago · Last reply by lgraham 9 years ago

Hello,

I want to change the background color of the yellow headline widget with a quote on my site: http://www.gblmarketingservices.com/2/win/

I’ve tried to change the background color using the Design section in the live editor but it doesn’t cover the whole area. I’d like for it to be red (196, 18, 48) instead.

Thanks.

    Hi Lgraham,

I just had a quick look at your website and there doesn’t seem to be a headline with a yellow background or text. Are you referring to the blue background headline at the bottom of the page?

To clarify, I would recommend setting the background color via the widget styles. Please open the widget and then head over to the widget styles sidebar and open the Design settings group. Set your desired red and then save. If there’s any spacing present, you’ll need to adjust the row styles for the row that houses the headline. Please click the wrench icon above it and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the layout settings group and adjust the styling as desired.
