How to change | in page title to –

Hello, we are using Vantage Premium and would like to change the | in every page title to – preferably without needing to mess with the DOM at runtime. Can this be done through functions.php in our child theme?

For instance, right now our page titles show up in the browser as:

Site Name | Our tagline goes here

We would like it to say:

Site Name – Our tagline goes here

    Thanks for running Vantage. The easiest would be to use a plugin like WordPress SEO: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

    Within the settings for WordPress SEO you’ll find all the necessary options to make the change you’re after.
