How to change editing layout / appearance?

I do not see the same editing screen as the one I see in an excellent YouTube tutorial video I am watching. My view looks like this:

I want it to look like this:

    Hi Shepard,

    Unfortunately, the linked images aren’t working for me. Regardless, I suspect you’re looking for the Classic WordPress interface rather than the new WordPress 5.0 block editor interface. To restore the desired interface, you’ll need to install the Classic Editor plugin.
