How to change color of rows

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Dear all,

I have read quite some threads on how to fix my issue, but none of it worked.
The current background color of the blog entries (done with site builder) is #f2f2f2. Since the page builder is not workng properly when working with pictures (or especially sliders,…i.e. the frames have to be adjusted manually, see link below), I would like to change the complete background color of the grey boxes to white. The border edge stays grey, unless I set the padding of the box to 0 on all sides. Which is not what I want.

Any advice?

    Hi bebe

    Thanks for posting.

The background color of the boxes is controlled by your theme’s stylesheet. They could be changed with custom CSS but unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the free support we’re able to provide here on the forums. We do offer assistance with small CSS changes within our premium support scope where we have the budget to do so. We’re a small team working with limited resources which is why our free scope is limited. Your theme’s support facility might be able to assist with changing the color of the boxes.

What’s the slider issue you mentioned, is it that autoplay isn’t working? SiteOrigin sliders use jQuery Cycle. Your theme is also using this script. This is most likely causing the error you’re seeing with your sliders. One method of resolving this problem would be to dequeue jQuery slider from your theme. This is also possibly something else theme support could assist with. (https://paulund.co.uk/dequeue-styles-and-scripts-in-wordpress)

Thanks, Andrew. I’ll talk to them then! Other than that I really love working with suiteOrigin – thanks for the great work!

For sure. Thanks for your understanding.

To confirm the conflict I suspect with jQuery Cycle, try to temporarily switch your theme to Twenty Nineteen and see if the issues you raised about the sliders resolve.
