How to change anchor tags

The anchor tags in the vantage theme go back to the top of the page. I’d like to change them and nothings seems to work. I have edited the tag in the text section of the page editor and they won’t stick. Any suggestions ?

    Hi hoss0007

Are you using anchor tags to link to content in the page? If so you could use any of the ID’s already present in your source code or add your own. If you show us an example of what you’re try to achieve we can help out.

So this is the href: Get Hosted Now! , this is where I want “get hosted now!” to point to on the same page: Entrepreneur Plan
    $3 /month* (3 yr. min.)
Just starting out? This Is The Plan For You!

    Thanks for your help!

You could link to this ID:

    #panel-34-4-0-0

So your link would look like this:

    <a href="#panel-34-4-0-0">Link text</a>

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for your help. For some reason when I hit the update button all the changes i make to the html go away. I made the changes in full screen mode and they stuck until I went back to regular view. Then the changes were wiped out. I’m not sure what’s going on there. Also still no go on the font awesome icons as well.

    Should I try anything else?

What widget are you attempting to make these changes to?

  8. hoss0007 11 years, 4 months ago

I only have the Home page and the widgets are the circle icon widget and the price box widget.

Not all of the widget fields can parse HTML. For example none of the widget title fields can parse HTML.

Just to confirm, it’s not possible to make changes to Page Builder content via the Visual or Text tabs, you can only edit Page Builder content via Page Builder.

Your icons aren’t appearing because both the background and icon colors are set to white. Try adjusting those colors.

If you add the following as the More URL to the first Circle Icon’s settings it should link correctly:

    #panel-34-4-0-0
