how to center text in the nav bar after inserting a logo

Hi There
I just added a logo to the nav bar using Vantage Premium and now the links are sitting at the top of the nav bar. Question what changes do I need to make to position the links in the center(vertical) of the bar.
my site: www.planetaazultour.com
Your help will be much appreciated
thanks
Eddy

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Eddy

Thanks for reaching out. You can adjust menu padding from Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Menu > Menu Item Padding. You can use this setting to make the required adjustment.

    Hope that helps.

now when rezising the web browser the menu icons wont collapse to the side of the screen and I suppose this is related to the company icon placed in the nav bar, Question = could it be possible to collapse the icons with the company log inside the nav bar? if the answer is not, could the company icon could be placed on top of the nav bar on the left hand side without having to use the padding on the nav bar if the answer is yes could you please enlighten me with the solution, thanks in advance.

    Hi, I Work Here

The problem relates to the responsive menu plugin you’ve added. It should be hiding the regular menu once it adds the responsive menu. You could look at the settings for the plugin concerned and see if there is anything that can be changed. Not sure which plugin you’re using. Here are two you could try:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/responsive-menu/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-responsive-menu/

Reverting to the native Vantage responsive menu would also resolve the problem.

Just deleted (deactivated) the Responsive Menu as I did not find any info in the settings, Just one more thing how do I revert to the responsive vantage menu?
    Thanks for your great help
Note: I am getting there (I hope)

    Hi, I Work Here

Glad to hear you’re making progress. Go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Navigation and change the mobile menu collapse point from 0 to at least 480 or 680.

Thanks Andrew I set the Mobile Settings to 480 and it works.
Could you have a look at my site and see at the sliding show (I changed the style colour to dark ) so it can show the navigation dots and the padding that I want it to be removed (I had inspected the code through the browser(inspect element) ) so I can add an entry in the Custom CSS or what plugin for slide show where I can have a table with 2 row of images showing
3 images at the same time would you recommend.

Note: the initial page is nearly finished
Your help will be much appreciated and thanks for the time you are taking advising me.

    Hi, I Work Here

Wish I knew of a carousel that would work out the box for what you want. You could perhaps try:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/kiwi-logo-carousel/

Just not sure it has the styling you want.

    Hi Andrew

It is possible to insert an editable background image where I can add text and images? if you visit my site and go to the "Nosotros" page i have inserted an image the way I like to have it in the site, I did that in AI and photoshop. then what I did was create another page using page builder as by my first page "Inicio" so I can have the row as a table by I cannot insert a background image or make something similar to the sample page (Nosotros), if there any plugins compatible with Vantage that could do that?, the reason is that the image
(people) need to be a link as well and as an image I can't do that and the text is horrible.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi, I Work Here

Not sure I’m following. Are you asking how to make an image like the main image here: http://www.planetaazultour.com/nosotros/. But with plain text? If so, you could try using the row background image field that’s available under the Theme tab when editing a row. You could then insert your text over the image using a Visual Editor.

hi Andrew could you visit my site and see what is the problem when i re-size the page horizontal from right to left the images shrink instead of maintaining the ratio and showing in the same size.

Secondly I inserted the Company logo into the nav bar and adjusted the padding so the text is centered in relation with the logo, now that I added a submenu it look to big and spaced, is any way I could fix that , or I will need to move the Logo outside the nav bar and made the logo float on top of the page on the left hand side of the page, if that is the answer could you please tell me how to do it?

Your help will be much appreciated

    Hi Andrew
Something that I found on my site:
I created a dropdown menu under "Paquetes" –> Paquetes Nacionales and
Paquetes Internacionales, all good but just checking all the menu links I found if I don't slide the mouse over any of the secondary menu and stay on
"Paquetes" it shows as an hyperlink to a page called "Paquetes" and if I click on it it send me to that empty page. My question is how to unlink that entry menu?
I tried to remove the "Enlace permanente: http://www.planetaazultour.com/
paquetes/ ..the part highlighted but it come back after clicking on saving.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi, I Work Here

Have you perhaps managed to resolve in the mean time? It looks as though your parent menu item is no longer linked:

(If needs be, here is a thread I wrote on how to do this: https://siteorigin.com/thread/how-can-remove-the-link-from-my-top-level-menu-item/)

    Hi, I Work Here

Sure :) Appearance > Theme Settings > General > Site Information Text. That field can handle HTML if needs be.
