Hello,
Currently I am working on http://box5170.temp.domains/~edwaree7/pratice-areas/. I was finally able to center the buttons by creating a 3 column row and inserting a site builder layout in the middle. The issue I am running into is trying to have the text layout in the first row to be exactly the same in the second row. Is there a way to do so and if so how?
Hi Stephen,
For rows to appear the same they need to be set up in the same way. You can apply some padding to add spacing to the row that would make the columns similar to the other rows, but I would recommend adjusting the column sizing to be the same. Regardless, you can apply row padding by opening the row and going over to the Row Styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and adjust the Padding as desired – for example, try 0 25 0 25 %.
Regarding the centring trouble you’re facing, that’s due to how the Features widget works. The Features widget has a dedicated column setting and it will size the columns based on that setting. This means that if it’s set to four columns, it’ll leave room for four columns even if you only set two columns. If you would rather not use the features column, consider setting the column count to 1 and adding a single feature. Then add a SiteOrigin Feature widget for each page builder column.
Kind regards,
Alex

In response to this, how am I able to have two icons centered directly in the middle of the page. I have done the following and it is still not centered.
1) created a row with 4 columns and set the two middle to columns 50 percent each, Placed two seperate features into it and it was still not centered.
2) created a row with 1 column and placed a layout builder in that row, then added two two siteorigin Features into it. It was still not centered.
Hi Stephen,
For two feature widgets, the space between the features will be the center of the page. This is due to using columns, and the features also being centred within their feature widgets. You can move the features over slightly to give the appearance of the icons being centred (although I wouldn’t recommend doing this)*, but it’s not possible for both icons to be completely centered while being on the same line.
If you want the icons to be completely central, you should add one feature per row.
* You can do this by adding widget padding. You can apply padding to a widget by opening the widget and going over to the Widget Styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and adjust the padding as desired – for example, if you want to move it more over to the left, increase the left padding.
Kind regards,
Alex

Doing this places two icons on the page. one on top and one on bottom and they are not centered at all. The icons needs to be next to each other just like the first picture in the thread. Please see picture below.

Steps taken:
1) Created two rows
2) Added a feature to each row. Now the features are on top of each other instead of being side by side. We want the images side by side and centered but it appears that this is not possible.
Hi Stephen,
That’s strange. Can you please link me to where I can see these results on your website?
If you want them to appear side by side you need to add them to columns. Adding one per row will result in them appearing on different rows.
Kind regards,
Alex
