how to add page that should not be included on the menu

11 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 11 years ago

I would like to publish/add pages on News Page, that should not be link/appear to Menu – how to do it? Everytime I try to publish an article for News, it always included on the Menu under News – I want it to put on the news body with link and when the user click the link, it will open the article under the news page.

How to.

    Hi hklt0110

I’m having trouble accessing your site right now.

If you have a custom menu added under Appearance > Menus you can opt for top level pages to not be automatically added to the menu. This setting is found at Menu Settings, under your custom menu.

Ideally your news items should be posts, not pages.

    Hopefully that helps.

I don’t know of any news ticker plugins that you can use. That’s not say they aren’t out there.

Can you perhaps explain your question again, I’m not really following.

    Okay.

I want to post articles and clippings under News Menu, when I click the link (read more), the article will be open under the news menu and the title should not be included on the menu.

I try to publish some of my articles but it’s always included on the menu.

    How to?

    To confirm:

This is your news page: http://www.trufone.com.ph/?page_id=28.
And this is an example of a single news page: http://www.trufone.com.ph/?p=426

In your menu you have one item called News, it comes after Photo Gallery and before Contact Us.

None of your news posts appear in your menu. Your menu just says News.

Are you asking to remove the title:
National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) Issues VAS License To Trufone

    From the single post page:
    http://www.trufone.com.ph/?p=426

    ?
