How to add in photos to blog posts

Hi,

How would I add photos into blog posts. On my blog the posts come up as just the text without the pictures which are available when you click into them. What would I need to change to display the posts as I have made them?

    Good to hear from you. The easiest is to use Featured Images:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

    That’ll also populate the empty thumbnails you see in your right column Recent Posts widget.
