What happens when I update my WordPress which includes PageBuilder to include Gutenberg?
Are they compatible, and should they be installed together on a site?
Does Gutenberg do the same thing as PageBuilder?
Hi Tim,
Gutenberg is compatible with SiteOrigin Page Builder. With the release of SiteOrigin Page Builder 1.8, we released our Gutenberg integration to allow you to use SIteOrigin Page Builder inside of Gutenberg – for more information, please click here.
Gutenberg does some things SiteOrigin Page Builder does but overall, it’s worth using both together as SiteOrigin Page Builder includes functionality that’s simply not possible in Gutenberg. To clarify, Gutenberg was never designed as a replacement for page builders it was designed as a way to improve the base editing experience.
