How do you remove white space at bottom of a website?

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Hi,

I’ve designed a site using WordPress and Elementor. I would like to place images at the bottom of some pages but don’t want any white space showing underneath them.

It’s been difficult to find a clear way of achieving this using these platforms. The nearest result I could find was the SiteOrigin CSS plug-in, as demonstrated here:

I haven’t tried it yet as it’s not clear from the video what pages it works on. I think that’s what the user in the comments section of the video is also concerned about. As I said, I’m only using the effect for a handful of pages.

I have little experience of code, which is why I’m using Elementor :)

Is there anyway to do this using the above devices?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

Ideally, your theme would offer a page setting to accomplish this, we offer a bottom margin page setting in all of our new themes like Corp, Unwind, North and Vantage.

Once you’ve added a rule to Custom CSS to remove the margin you’d then need to prefix the rule with the body class of the page you’d like to restrict the rule to. You’d do this second step at Appearance > Custom CSS, not in the visual editor. I explain more here: Post: Unique Page Styling with Custom CSS Body Classes.
