How do i put a link in the header with my phone number that will allow iphone/android users to call me?

I want to put my phone number in the header of my site and have iphone or android users be able to tap on the phone number and call the number. I put the following text in my header text theme options, but nothing happened. The theme still displays what I had in the header text before…

    I found the widgets: header button (PB). What would I type in the destination URL to call my phone number on an iphone or android?

    Under Appearance > Widgets: Header you could insert a Text widget with the following:

    <a href="tel:555-555-5555" rel="nofollow">555-555-5555</a>
