How do I add a Background Slideshow to a row?

8 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 8 years ago

I am wondering what is the best way to apply a simple 4 second, fade transition, 16 image slideshow to the row’s background?

Not:

1. Using a gif, the image is grainy.
2. Creating a simple video with the transition because it results in a large file size.
3. Using a slideshow plugin because while there are plenty of slideshows, it applies text to each image’s transition. I would like to retain the widgets I placed in the row while the slideshow shows in the background. Any help?

Example: http://www.cssscript.com/demo/pure-css-background-slideshow-ken-burns-effect/

The highlighted text would be the SiteOrigin Editor widget for example. Thanks!

    Hi D,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on the forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you.

    We highly recommend using Codeable.
