How can I make widget plug in buttons behave better responsively?

I’ve enjoyed the page builder and widget features so far, but I have run into a problem with the buttons— I have a layout with four buttons spanning the page- and when the page goes to smaller devices they are all uneven and the top and bottom margins are a bit ridiculously large. How can I better control this behavior? (for example I would be okay with changing their span to 100% at a 960px breakpoint and stacking as long as they spanned a bit better and were closer together vertically).

Pagebuilder and widgets bundle in use- won’t let me choose both. :)
