how can i do to make a home-page video on autoplay? I´ve tried checking at “reproduccion automatica” option but it only works on preview mode. Could you help me to solve this? thi is the URL http://inplace.com.ar/

    Thanks for posting.

    Please, try removing the Video widget and insert an Editor widget. Insert into the Editor widget:

    [video src="http://inplace.com.ar/newinplace/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/inplace_projects.mp4.mp4" autoplay="on" width="1905" height="1071"]

    I’ll request that the Video widget be checked to see why autoplay isn’t working. The above should help for now.

    Hi Adrew! I´ve tried what you suggested buet it didn´t work.
    I hope you can help me an check the autoplay.

    Thanks for trying. We’ve dug a bit deeper and found it’s not working due to browser policy changes – the video shortcode doesn’t work either unless the user has whitelisted the site, or the video is muted.

    We’re looking at automatically muting videos if autoplay has been selected to allow for autoplay to work. I, unfortunately, don’t have an immediate solution in spite of searching for one.
