How can I add a widget area to the right of the main title?

In full width mode, I have a significant amount of empty space to the right of the title and the social share buttons (32×32) right below the title… so that creates a decent height… perhaps up to 120px when you factor in the breadcrumbs. I’d like the option of adding a widget in the empty space, likely flush up against the right margin. I spent all morning looking for a solution… some code to add to the child theme. Nothing I did worked, and none of the plugins that I tried to use did anything.

Can anyone offer some guidance? I’ll include the url to my site… just remove the space at the .com

    Hi Chris

You’d need to create a new widget area in your theme’s functions.php file and then add that widget area to content-single.php and corresponding CSS to your child theme’s style.css file or Custom CSS.

Hope that gets you pointed in the right direction. It’s a custom development task, not super quick.
