Hover effect portfolio – change opacity

Dear SiteOrigin,

I am trying to change the opacity of the background colour when you hover over the portfolio widget. If I set the opacity to ‘1’ in CSS, the text title disappears. If the opacity is less than 1, the change is also reflected in the text.

The CSS I have used (with no luck) is:

.project.small a:hover{
background-color: #fae2d6;
opacity: 1;
}

How can I set the background colour opacity to 1 and still have the title text of the project appear over that?

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Kindest

Iain

    Hi Iain

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Do you perhaps know how the author is of the widget in question?

    Hi Andrew,

    Thank you for your reply. The portfolio widget came with the Create Theme by Theme Trust as part of the page builder.

    Does this help?

    Many thanks in advance

    Hi Iain

    Thanks for the update. It might be best to chat with Theme Trust, as far as I’m aware, they are the authors of the widget in question.
