Hi,
I am trying to build my website alone and need help on the home page.
The menu bar with my logo at the top of the page leaves a thick white bar between the menu and the first image. How can I remove it without touching the code?
You can look at my website to better understand what I am talking about : www.destination-yoga.fr
I would also like align the menu with the logo, right now it is more towards the top.
Sorry my english is not great…
Thanks for the help!!! ;)
Sophie
Hi Sophie
Thanks for the wait.
At Appearance > Custom CSS you’ve added the following rule:
I recommend changing that to the following:
That’ll allow your content normal left and right padding for mobile devices.
Try adding the following to Custom CSS to move your menu down a little:
Hope that helps.
Hi Andrew,
Great! It worked! Thank you so much, its perfect!
May I ask you one more thing?
On the homepage, at the section "L'EQUIPE", the space about that word is bigger than any other section and I dont know how to remove it.
Thanks a lot
I just noticed that with Chrome my website looks fine but with explorer the logo in menu is huge! Anything we can do about that?
Sorry for the back to back emails but I noticed another bug since I made the change in the custom CSS. If you look at my menu drop down, there is a white space about the text. Can it be fixed?
Thanks again
Glad to hear you’re making progress.
L’EQUIPE
Edit the row above by clicking the wrench icon far right then Edit RowTheme, enable the No Bottom Margin setting.
IE
I’m not sure why Explorer would be seeing the logo differently. If we don’t succeed I’ll need to ask one of our team members to test in Windows for me as I’m unfortunately, not running it here. Let’s try adding the following to Custom CSS and see if it helps:
Menu
I missed a rule. Add to our Custom CSS the following:
Great! Thanks, it almost all worked! Only IE is wrapping my menu below the logo now. Not sure why. if you could just look into it that would be awesome.
Thanks for the help.
Try the following:
Adjusting the 30px value will change right left padding of the menu items.
It worked, you are the best!!! Thank you again very much for your help!
Super :) Glad we could help out. All the best with your website.
