Homepage Hero widget not full width

Hi, I have been trying to set the hero image on my homepage hero widget to full width. i have looked at the page builder row setting and its set to full width stretched with the image 1270px wide so I should have no problem. This is also causing my left aligned hero text to be cut off when switching to tablet and mobile view.
