Home page slider and PHP

two questions if anyone might know the answer.
1). I am having issues with the home page slider. Every time I publish “none” it will always show the demo. No matter how many times I try to do this.
2) When I did PHP compatibility checker, there seems to be alot of issues with Child Vantage so I am assuming that I should not update my PHP
Thanks
Kelly

    Hi Kelly

Sorry for the hassle. Try going to CustomizeTheme SettingsHome and set the slider to None there.

Try switching to the Vantage parent theme and then running a PHP compatibility check. There shouldn’t be any issues if you’re running version 1.14.3. Let us know if there are issues, we’d be happy to address them.

  2. Hi there. I have tried many times to switch the slider to ““none”. Unfortunately it keeps showing the demo
Is there something else I can try

There are two settings, one at PagesHome Page (or whatever your home page is called) and the other in the Customizer. If you’re seeing a sync issue, ensure both settings have been applied.

  4. One last question. It seems that I can have only 7 products for sale In any given category. If I add an eighth it will not show up in my shop

    Does this make sense

Glad to hear you’re making progress.

At CustomizeWooCommerceProduct Catalog you can set Products per row and Rows per page.

  6. Thank you again. The issue with products is that if I have any more that 7 products only the first 7 show up on the page. However the products do exist since as the admin I can see them and on the shop page it says 1 of 10 products. So I know they are there but customers can’t see them. Any idea why this might be happening

Please, send a link to the page concerned and we’ll take a look.
