Home Page Opens Below Navigation Menu

I cannot understand why the Home page (constructed in Page Builder using Chrome as the web browser) on my website will not open from the top. You cannot see the navigation menu uness you scroll up. This problem is only with the Home page. The other pages open correctly from the top. The problem happens in Chrome and Edge; but not in Mozilla Firefox, which is something. On my iPhone, the Home page opens correctly from the top.

Last week, I removed the sidebar on the Home page, and that seemed to fix the probem for about 5 days, but it is now back to its old trick of opening from the top row that are two SiteOrigin Editor widgets displaying the library logo and catalog and the slideshow. If I move the slideshow down, the problem goes away. But I want the sldiehsow at the top. Grrr….

I am using the WordPress Modality theme.

This is my site: http://www.hersheylibrary.org/home/

Can you please tell me how to fix this problem in Chrome and Edge? Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

I’d be happy to take a look. It looks like you’re using WordFence Country Blocking. If you could temporarily lift that, I’ll take a look and report back.

    Hello Andrew,
Thanks for responding. While I manage the website, I am unable to “ift” WordfenceCountry Blocking until electronic resources supervisor returns from vacation next Monday. The main problem is the fact that now the Home page is stuck in Text editor, Visual editor is inactive and you can’t even see the code on the page unless you higlight it. Page Builder has disappeared as an option to edit the Home page.

Thanks for your reply. I can view the site using a proxy server.

To resolve the Page Builder issue, please, try the following. Temporarily deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin, in that state, does the issue resolve? If the issue does resolve you can reactivate your plugins one by one, checking for the issue after each activation.

Regarding the home page issue. I don’t know that Page Builder is the cause of the page offset on load. The quickest way to check to see if Page Builder is the issue is to temporarily deactivate all SiteOrigin plugins and then check to see if the issue persists.
