Home Page Issues – Layout Changed and Warped

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hi there,

Hoping someone can help me solve this issue. On the Homepage of a clients website Pulse Internet the layout has changed for some reason, and is unresponsive to any attempts made to correct the issue. If you visit the site, the issues can be found between “Our Commitment” and the “Service Areas” heading. The 3 icons used to be in a row, the green “services” image box used to cover the width of the screen, and the supsystic boxes are in improper rows, misaligned, and warped/squished. I tried adjusting the padding and margins but nothing changed.

    Hi Jacob

    The issue is most likely the following rule in theme’s stylesheet:

    .entry-content div {
    	width: auto !important;
    }

    auto is the default width value. If !important is removed then the issue resolves. !important ideally shouldn’t be used in a parent stylesheet.

    I can’t find the same rule in the demo http://demos.themetrust.com/swell/. Are you using a different version? If you didn’t add this rule, please, try reaching out to the theme authors and let them know the details of the issue.
