Hi,
I developed some plugins to add custom properties to PageBuilder rows and widgets. If a page is full of widgets and rows, the user has no chance to see for which rows or widgets custom properties where set.
For preview and the live site I’m using the filtes “siteorigin_panels_row_style_attributes” and “siteorigin_panels_widget_style_attributes” but both are not used in the backend editor.
Is it possible to change for example the background color for a row or widget in the backend editor?
Kind regards
Thorsten
After looking add the code and other plugins, I think it is not possible to change the background color of widgets in the pagebuilder editor.
Hi Thmarx,
You could, in theory, do something like this but a lot of it would have to be done manually as we don’t provide any sort of functionality to do this at this time. In other words, you would need to manually output the variables and then make adjustments to the row via JavaScript and CSS. Due to the complexity of such a change, I’m unfortunately unable to really assist at this time. Sorry mate. :(
This is something I personally would like introduced and I’m going to strongly push for it to be in SiteOrigin Page Builder 3, or at least to have the support (functionality wise) there to make it easier for custom plugins to do.
