Hide Sidebar in Vantage

Again I’m having problems with hiding the sidebar in Vantage theme. I can build up a new page or message but I can’t hide the sidebar. I also noticed that when saving or publishing a new page the word “saving” in the upper right corner seems to stay active and grayed out. Modifying a page after it once has been saved is not possible. Anyone an idea?

Kind regards, Theo

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Theo,

You can hide the sidebar in Vantage by setting your Page Settings Layout to No Sidebar if you’re using the Default page template.

You can globally hide the sidebar by either removing all of the widgets in your sidebar at WP AdminAppearanceWidgets, or you can hide it by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme DesignSidebar and set the Sidebar Position to None.

Regarding the greyed out saving button, I’m not too sure why that’s happening. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
