Hero Widget Oversized Button

Hi everyone. I’d like to start by saying that I wouldn’t have made it this far in web design without Site Origin. Th community that allows people like me to have access to these tools to create things is invaluable and I totally look forward to contributing more once I’ve mastered PHP a bit more and can start writing themes and plugins.

That being said, I’m coming to you all today because I’m having an issue with the Site Origin Hero widget and Simpl Skeleton-Child Theme on a site that I’m working on. As you probably know, the Site Origin Hero Widget has a feature that allows you to design buttons that can appear in the image content. So far, everything has been working fine with the hero image content itself, but when I design the buttons and insert the [buttons] short code, it presents two buttons instead of one and one of them is really oversized. Also, there’s no text.

I figure someone here has probably seen this before and might be able to give a few pointers as to what I should be looking at in CSS etc. to remedy this. Let me know what you guys think.
