I would like to use either the SiteOrigin Hero or SiteOrigin Layout Slider widget to create a slider on a client’s Home page, but when I add more than 1 image to either one of the widgets, it doesn’t show on the front end of the site.
Here is a link to the Home page of the development site where there is a SiteOrigin Hero and SiteOrigin Layout Slider above the text “ABOUT EDWARDS PRINTING SERVICE”. The Hero and Layout Slider both have two images with text, but you can’t see them.

This page has a SiteOrigin Hero widget with only one image and text.

I am using the website Theme Alora, by Theme4Press https://theme4press.com/alora-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/
The theme and all plugins are running the most current versions.
Please let me know if there is any additional information that you might need.
Thank you,
Eric
Hi Eric,
Would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.
Hi Alex,
Here is a link to the export https://www.dropbox.com/s/sp8eiyyh7hjp84f/layout-12062017.json?dl=0
Let me know if you have any issues accessing it.
Thank you,
Hi Sundancemktng,
Thanks. I’ll run a few tests. In the meantime, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
if the above doesn’t help, you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
I will try that and let you know if anything changes.
Thanks,
The issue hasn’t been resolved yet. Please let me know if you’ve found a solution.
Thanks,
Hi Sundancemktng,
I was able to use the provided layout without issue. Did you run the plugin conflict test? If so, did you also temporarily change to a default theme to rule out a theme issue?
I just created a test site and see that your plugin has no issues when the Alora theme is not used.
Would you be able to provide a fix in your next update?
Thanks,
I forgot to tell you that Theme4Press, the theme creators, have it on their list to try to release a fix with their next update.
Hi Sundancemktng,
Based on it being on the developer’s list, this is likely a theme specific issue that we can’t fix. If they’re having trouble with resolving it we’ll be more than happy to lend a hand.
Awesome! Thank you so much for your help in trying to resolve this issue.
