Hero Widget does not display button

9 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 9 years ago

Hi Andrew,

I have tried to input a button both ways via a shortcode right under the slider text in the editor and also via the the “add button” option contained in the Hero. I cant see what I could be doing wrong so perhaps you could me.

Thanks,

Leon

    Hi Leon

Thanks for your question. You’ll need to do both, Add Button creates the button and inserting the shortcode outputs the button. Does that help?

    Hi Andrew,
Do I add a button in the Hero panel without a definition (button parameters) because the shortcode defines the button size, shape, colour and content? Otherwise I could use the generic  [buttons] shortcode and add the definition through the Hero. Which is the way that you recommend?
    Thanks
    Leon

Sure. Within each Hero frame is a button interface, add your button there and then output it using the shortcode: [buttons].
