Hero Image widget: make image full width?

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

I’d like my hero image to extend the full width of the screen. I have the Row Layout set to Full Width Stretched and have experimented with the margin settings, adding a large image, everything I can think of. Is there any way to get rid of the white space to right and left of the hero image?

Thanks

    Hi Lvholmes

    Thanks for posting your question.

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Thanks

The theme is adding a container class to the widget and then targeting that class with a max-width value. I’ll take a further look and report back.

Try going to SettingsPage BuilderWidgets, deactivate Add Widget Class. It’ll resolve the issue. There might be a loss of desired theme widget styling so you’ll need to see if this change produces unwanted consequences.

That did the trick, thank you! And solved another issue I was having as well.
