Hero Image- Video Background: Not Playing on tablets/cell

I can set a background image and all is well, but when I set a video background it does not appear on tablet or cell phone. Does work on desk/laptops.
I found some post about not working by design due to battery life or some foolishness.
Please tell me you didn’t design a plugin to purposely not work on mobile devices, and that I’m just not checking some box or setting or doing something wrong?

    Hi Frank,

    Unfortunately, you misunderstood. This isn’t something we decided on. Apple and Google decided to do this (this is why certain other browsers will allow the videos to play mobile devices). Certain mobile browsers simply disable certain functionality (such as fixed background images) on mobile devices and there’s sadly nothing you can do to bypass this (in other words, it’s sadly out of our control).

    Huh, wonder why other video background plugins and themes work on mobile devices then?
