Hi Guys –
I’m building my first blog using the Unwind theme and Page Builder (and am finding both to be super easy!). On most of my posts I have used a featured image. But on one post, I used a hero image at the top (created with the SiteOrigin hero image widget). On the home page using the default blog layout, the featured images and the hero image appear. But if I want to switch to a grid or alternate layout (or even build a slider using the Jetpack Featured Slider option), the hero image does not appear.
Is there a way to set the hero image in my post as a featured image so that it will show up on the home page using any different layout other than default?
Note that I am a COMPLETE newbie with this and am not at all a techie, so if there is custom CSS that you suggest, please be as specific about the steps for inserting it as you can :). Note that I did install the SiteOrigin custom CSS “thingy.”

Hi Lori,
Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without some custom coding. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.
If you need this urgently, you could always post a job on Codeable.
