I am trying to set a hero image using your widget but the whole image does not appear, I sized it to 960 wide but is still cutoff

    Hi Kevin,

You’ll need to set a height via widgets design and layout settings group. Basically, the height of the hero widget is, by default, dictated by its content. As there’s no content (and minimal padding), the height of the hero widget is very small. Based on the type of image, I would strongly suggest changing to a SiteOrigin image widget for improved responsiveness.

    Hi Sakcon,

This might help. Below is an image of the field you need to set highlighted.

Ok, Got that now why is my features running past the width of my page and I can’t figure out how to use a 150×300 image without it tiling

    Hi Sakcon,

The features widget is outside of the container due to the row layout you’ve set. Please open the row that houses the features widgets by clicking the wrench icon above it. Then head over to the row styles sidebar and open the layout settings group. Adjust the row layout to either full width or standard.

Okay based on your usage, you should instead use the SiteOrigin Image Widget. The image will add an HTML image rather than a CSS background which will display the image at the correct dimensions and remove any change of tiling.
