3 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 3 years ago

Hello,

We are developing the www.incubazul.com project using their (excellent) plugins and tools, but we have found that the images in SiteOrigin Hero (main or initial page) don’t behave responsively and we cannot correctly adjust the width and height size parameters (desktop layout and mobile).

Can you help us with this problem? Any hint, example or suggestion will be welcome.(excelent) plugins and tools, but we have detected that the images into SiteOrigin Hero aren’t responsive and we cannot get adjust witdh and height (desktop and mobile design) size parameters properly.

Can you help us with this issue? Any hint, example or suggestion are be wellcome.

Thanks

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

If you aren’t using text layers in the Hero, please try the SiteOrigin Slider Widget. The Slider Widget will resize your images to 100% width. The Hero, unfortunately, isn’t the best option if you’re using text in your background image.

    Hello Andrew,

Thank you for your response and comments.

One additional question, if I would be to limit the maximum vertical size, in responsive mode, what should I adjust? Should it use widget styles like attributes, structure, mobile layout, etc, or should it be done differently.

    Thanks again

    Hi

The Hero uses background image size cover. That, unfortunately, makes it inappropriate for images with text embedded. The SiteOrigin Slider Widget will resize as requested and be perfect for the images you’re using.

In theory, it’s possible to re-work the Hero to handle the images you’re using, but it would take more than adjusting size. Please, give the SiteOrigin Slider Widget a try.

    Hi Andrew,

We’ve fixed the main page [ http://www.incubazul.es ] with SiteOrigin Slider Widget and we are realy happy with the final result.

We can close this assistance very successfully.
