My hero image looks fine in the widget preview but won’t display on page preview. This occurs if I try to change the font colours used in text across the image or the font colour on the buttons. Even if I don’t change the colours, by clicking on a link and returning to the page the image has gone.
Using WordPress, Woocommerce and Storefront theme.
Any ideas?
Hi Karen,
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.
Morning, the url is http://www.thewoolypuffin.co.uk
I want to use the hero image on the home page – the first image that you see. Unfortunately, I had to remove the hero image and for the moment I’ve replaced it with a simple siteorigin widget/image. Do you want me to reinstate the hero image?
Karen
Just spotted this error that keeps popping up on the WordPress dashboard
Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File Private Snippet doesn’t exist
Hi Karen,
Hm. That leads me to believe there’s one of two possible things happening.
To see if this is what happened simply resave the page. You may need to make a minor style adjustment.
Please adjust the permissions of this directory according to this codex. If you need help with doing this I would recommend contacting your hosting provider.
