Hero Image missing text

On the fresh organic theme for my homepage I changed the hero image and had text over the top just above the read more button (as per the original theme). However after making changes further down the page on a different hero tab, the top image text disappeared on the image. The text is still there in the frame section when I edit it, but it wont display on the actual page. Is there a way to correct this without having to redo the entire page again?
