    Hi Kali

    You can fix/change this with some custom CSS. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Just add the following code.

    /* Menu */
    #primary-navigation .nav-menu li.menu-item-has-children .sub-menu {
    	z-index: 1000;
    }

    You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.

    Can you perhaps, reach out to your theme support. They, ideally, need to adjust the z-index of their drop-down menus up to handle this usage case. It would solve the problem for you long-term as well as many other potential users of this theme + the Hero widget.

    All looks good at the moment. Is this happening on the home page?
