Hero Image cropped in mobile screen

9 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 9 years ago

Hi There,

I had used Hero Image in several pages in a website called 66bests.com.au. I love it very much especially its ability to set hight and add style text over the image. However one problem is when i open it in mobile screen, the image is cropped to a small size only showing the mid part of the image and text. How can I set or configure or CSS to have it shows the full image (in small scale sized) in mobile and tablet screens?

I apprecaite your help very much!

Johnny

    Hi Johnny

    Thanks for reaching out.

The Hero background isn’t fully responsive. If it was, the height of the Hero, text and buttons if in place, would all need to change/get smaller as the screen size decreases. As a result it’s a bit more suited to images without a prominent focal point.

The good news is that at some point next week, we’ll hopefully be launching the Layered Slider widget. It’ll be behave the same way Meta Slider plugin does for mobile, everything will get smaller including the image width and height and text and buttons etc.
