Hero Image – auto-crop settings

Hello,

Forgive me if this has already been answered, but I am having a hard time knowing what to search for.

I have an image of a group of people I am using for a hero widget that looks great on a 4:3 screen, but on a 16:9 it gets cropped and cuts off the top with everyone’s faces. Is it possible to have the widget only crop from the bottom or have a position from the top from which it won’t auto-crop from?

I think my alternative is choosing a different photo with people’s faces centered on the image, but I am trying to see if I can continue to use this image.

    Thanks for posting.

    The Hero works best with subjects that aren’t close up. It, unfortunately, isn’t easy to adjust the background position, at least not from within the widget, it could perhaps be done using Custom CSS.

    Either a different photo or perhaps something like Smart Slider 3 would work as an alternative option.
