Hero exists in editor, not on page

Hi,
I installed the Hero widget a few months back and installed it on my homepage at mountaingoattrail.org and it worked fine. Now, it has disappeared, even though the widget still appears in my editor.

I updated all plugins and Page Editor just before noticing this.

Thanks for any help.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Patrick,

Oddly, jQuery doesn’t appear to be present on your page. Are you using any plugins that intentionally replace the default jQuery? If you’re not sure what jQuery is, please disregard this question.

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Hi Alex,
Well, the problem disappeared when I followed your instructions. Deactivated all non-SO plugins, cleared caches, and the Hero frames appeared. Then activated plugins one by one and all remained good.

    Thanks!

    Hi Patrick,

That’s odd. Let me know if the issue pops up again and we’ll take another look. :)
