Heading Font Sizes

Hello,

I’ve been trying to customize my font sizes for my headers, but despite setting H2 to 22px and H3 to 20px and everything looking correct in the preview, when I save, H3 looks significantly larger than H2. What could I do to fix this? Also, is there a way to make headings always bolded in the custom settings?

Thanks!

Half resolved—I think there’s a glitch because I’m able to make my H3 any other size and it saves properly, but when I save H3 as 20px, it saves a larger. Still would love to know if auto-bolding is an option though!

    Hi Tn1535a

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Do you perhaps have a public URL where we can look at what’s going on?

I unfortunately do not at the moment. I switched the settings so that we could use the template on our website immediately, but these are screenshots of the issue. On one image, you can see the size settings in the customizer, and the next is a screenshot immediately after I published. As you can see, Heading 3 automatically becomes much larger than intended and previewed. I resolved the issue by changing the size to something other than 20 px and have just figured H3 glitches at 20 px.

    Thanks for the screenshot.

I can very quickly assist once I can inspect the headings in the second screenshot and inspect the CSS involved. It’s hard to know if a plugin, Custom CSS or something else is targeting the headings, overriding the Customizer CSS. Good news is that it’s an easy issue to resolve.
