Having trouble getting photo to fit with Meta Slider?

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

Within Meta Slider, which i’m using on the main home page for the welcoming band photo.
The problem is I’ve tried making it smaller the photo and lager then all different sizes and it seems that meta slider makes the photo fit which is cropping the top off one of the musicians head.
How can I make this photo work – or is there another way to have this photo blown up kind of like it is now but the full and un cropped

    Hi Tommyallen1

    Thanks for reaching out.

You can find our home slider tutorial here: https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/getting-started/slider/.

Full width sliders are always a bit tricky to get right. The slider needs to fill the screen and still maintain aspect ration. Let’s start out by trying this. Go to Meta Slider and locate the slider dimensions on the right. Setup the dimensions to match your image dimensions: 900 x 600. Then click the Advanced tab and enable the 100% width checkbox. Finally, go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Home and disable the Stretch Home Slider checkbox.

Let me know how that goes.
