Having the stretched Metaslider on every page with Vantage (not only on the Home page)

Hello,
We have been trying to have the stretched Metaslider on every page of our website running the Vantage theme (and not only on the Home page).
This question seems to have been asked before, but the answers we found (inserting a Metaslider widget manually) do not seem to work. In the best case, we have been able to insert a reduced version of the slider inside the other pages, but the big stretched home page slider disappears once one clicks away from the home page.
What steps can we take to have exactly the same (stretched) slider as on the home page on every page of the website ?
Even if this is not a standard feature of the Vantage theme, there must be a way to obtain this result by tweaking some settings ?
Thanks a lot for your help :)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Brian

The easiest way to achieve this is using the per page Meta Slider setting. When you’re editing a page, you should see a Page Meta Slider box. Just choose which slider you want to display on that page, and Vantage will display it right at the top, fully stretched out.

If you want to add a full width slider to your Page Builder pages, then you can use the row layout settings. This is a fairly new feature that we still need to document. When in Page Builder, click on the spanner icon to edit a row, then in the right sidebar, under the “Layout” section is a “Row Layout” option. Change this to one of the full width options. Full Width Stretched will stretch the content of the row to fit the page.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Brian

I’ve set this up for you on your first page here:

    http://www.toledotechnical.com/wordpress/?page_id=99

I went to Appearance > Theme Settings > Home, option to Stretch the slider, that setting also covers the page sliders. Then I went to the page in question, selected the page Meta Slider from the right column drop down menu and removed the in page shortcode.

For your other pages, follow my steps above.

Hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any questions.

    Hello,

Thank you very much for this intervention, which is definitely a step in the right direction.

The issue with this solution is that the pictures in the slider are now cropped… They were exactly correct before selecting “Stretch” (and always covered the full width of the screen… this behavior is quite puzzling to me).
Now, the format is somehow wrong – this is obvious on the first slide, for instance, where the layers overlaid on the picture are not shown correctly.

Do you know a way to solve this issue ?
    Thank you !

    Hi, I Work Here

Check now, I removed a max-width, CSS is inserted into Simple Custom CSS.

    Hi, I Work Here

OR what you can do is turn off stretching under Theme Settings > Home. On each slider in Meta Slider you can click the Advanced tab on the right and set width to 100%, that’s an option too.

    Great, thank you !!! :)

    This definitely solves our issues.

Awesome, glad to hear that did the trick.

All the best with your site. It’s looking great.
