Have picture take up entire block/div

Hi there,

I’m trying to build my website with the SiteOrigin Pagebuilder, but I can’t get it to make a picture take up an entire block/div. Here’s an example of what I mean: http://justfreethemes.com/demo?theme=Zeal (section 2).

Thank you very much in advance!
Max

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jean,

Those are background images with a padding to allow for spacing.

You can apply a background image to a row by clicking the wrench icon above it. Then…
You can apply a background image to a widget by opening it and then…

Head over to the row styles sidebar and open the Design settings group. Set the background image and, if you would like the parallax effect they’re using, set the Background Image Display setting to Parallax. If you don’t want that effect, please set adminize]Background Image Display[/adminize] to cover.

You can apply a background image to a widget using much the same instructions. This time however you simply need to open the widget by clicking it.

    Hello Alex,

Thank you for your answer. I tried what you recommended but couldn’t get the image to take up the entire space from margin to margin: the section grows with the image when I increase the padding. Here’s a screenshot of what I mean (set the background image on a widget supposed to take up the left 50% of the page): https://goo.gl/photos/RdtZsKiL1DxZzpCW8.

Looking forward to your help on that.

    Cheers,
    Jean-Maxime

    Hi Jean-Maxime,

That looks like you added an image via a widget, you added the image via the row styles, right?
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
